This was a good get right to the point video on digital cameras. I think many folks do know about the megapixels, memory and such. You just have to decide on what you want to come out of your wallet!

www.educationworld.com - I used this site quite often over the past couple of semesters at FCCJ and found it very useful for all kinds of things from research to lesson plans to general info on teaching

www.school.discovery.com- This site was wonderful and I enrolled in a free 30 day trial for the services provided by the discovery website that inclues some "streaming" discovery programs. There were some areas on the site like "puzzle builder" that I thougt was going to be free but you actually had to buy a CD-ROM to make the puzzles. The lesson plan section was very good and had fully printable versions and layed the entire plans out nicely (for the beginner here). There was quite a bit to look around at and I didnt have time to delve into the entire site, but what I did see I believe I could put to use in the classroom (and at home with my own kids)
